The Vortok Adjustable Check Rail Spacer  is designed to allow the adjustment of check rails, effectively doubling their life. This reduces the risk of serious damage occurring to crossings and reduces manpower costs.

When check rails are worn by 3mm on their guide faces, they require correction if unacceptable wear and damage to crossings is to be avoided. This has typically required the check rail to be replaced or turned. The Vortok Adjustable Check Rail Spacer  has an interlocking design* that allows a fixed 3mm adjustment to take place, under red zone conditions well inside standard train margin times.
